I have two HDMI to 12G SDI converters. They were only working with 2K HDMI input. 4K HDMI was not working. I downloaded the BM converter setup utility. When I connected by converter, it said firmware update is required, so I clicked to proceed. After about 98% completion it gave the error message:
"Update Failed !
Please check your connections and try again"
I unplugged my device and plugged it back in and now it doesn't give any option for firmware update. It shows the current firmware version is Version 7.6.2, Build 0113c579
But now it doesn't work at all. Even the 2K HDMI wouldn't work. I tried on two different computers with BM converter utility version 9 and version 8. Both times it did exactly the same thing, i.e. firmware update failed. Both my HDMI converters do not work now. Can any one please help. Thanks
