BLACKMAGIC, ARDUINO & X-KEYS

PostMon Feb 20, 2017 5:08 pm

I own a BlackMagic Clean Cut 12x12 video router. I would like to purchase an Arduino & an XKeys XK-8 to control the router remotely. This is my 1st attempt at programming. I have found a lot of info on how to program the XK-8, the Arduino & the BlackMagic but I can't figure out how the 3 pieces all come together. I'm hoping you can help me out.

You don't easily without extensive programming knowlage...

Xkeys is USB and thus for Computer use only..

Interfacing USB to an arduino takes a certain amount of skills..

Interfacing an arduino ethernet to a video hub can be done with skaarhoj software..

Putting this all together is going to take days for an experienced programmer.. Buying a BMD video smart hub control panel was much cheaper at only $495..
