Davinci Resolve 14 Keeps Crashing

Hey Guys,

I just downloaded Davinci Resolve 14, and I'm trying to edit a small video with it, but it keeps crashing every couple minutes. I've read online that I should update my drivers, so I did, but still nothing. Just keeps popping up "Davinci Resolve 14 has stopped working", then a few seconds later the app closes.

I'm currently running Windows 8 on an HP Laptop.

Any ideas on what the problem may be and how to fix it?

a. include a more complete hardware profile
b. post a link to captured diagnostic logs (as per link above)
