Intensity 4k extreme with mac book pro

PostMon Aug 20, 2018 3:35 am

Is there an external 4k recorder for laptop like mac book pro? They have intensity shuttle HD only but they don't have a 4k version of the intensity shuttle.
They have intensity pro 4k or 4k PCIe version which I cant use with laptop to record 4k as I need an open PCIe slot. Or is there a way around this using some thunderbolt to PCIe 4 or 8 lane converter?
Otherwise using a black magic video assist...its overkill for me as I don't need an external monitor. Just 4k in ProRes codec will do it for me.

HyperDeck Studio, or the Mini version of that, if you want a BMD product, that is external.
Checkout the Products section of the BMD website, if this will meet your specs
