HELP!

Hey folks! I'm brand new to the Black Magic Intensity Shuttle, and I've gotten myself into quite the bind so please be patient.... I am working an event this weekend with an elaborate plan that is heavily relying on getting this thing to work, and I'm down to the wire and haven't been able to get it working yet.


I'm trying to take the output of one laptop, and run it into another laptop for processing via madmapper. I have the black magic software installed, the hdmi input selected. When I open madmapper, It sees the intensity shuttle, but all it shows it black. Is it possible to get the desktop from my other computer to show up live through the intensity shuttle? What am I doing wrong? Again, sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've searched all over and I cannot find any clear information as to if this is possible, and what I might be doing wrong. Thanks!

Sorry, I have no solution, but I would suggest to use a headline, which explains your issue a little bit more .... Maybe then you will have some more views and answers.

The intensity shuttle only supports certain resolutions and framerates.

HD Video Standards
720p50, 720p59.94, 720p60
1080p23.98, 1080p24, 1080p25, 1080p29.97, 1080p30
1080i50, 1080i59.94, 1080i60

HDMI Video Sampling
4:2:2 YUV.

As a lot of laptops have an issue outputting 1080i (interlaced) i would suggest you set your other laptop output to 1280x720P50 or 60 maximum. And check if you have an image.
