I am trying to set up a Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera (not 4K) connected via Micro Converter HDMI to SDI to a DeckLink Mini Recorder.
My machine is running Ubuntu 18.04. I have installed both the Desktop Video drivers together with the GUI utility, and Media Express. Media Express correctly receives the video input from the card.
The problem is the following: third party applications like Cheese or Skype do not recognize the card as a possble video recording device.
What can I do in order to let Ubuntu see the card as a possible webcam?
