Blackmagiccontrolpanel XML issues

PostWed Sep 19, 2012 10:42 am

Software have permanent problems on different Linux distros. Compile it statically, please, or so (against all - libxml and Qt - libraries). From time to time - Qt problems (prog rely on a dedicated version of Qt or other libs and unicode), now - XML errors.
Why not open the source of the control panel? It is not the key secret application, but brings a cup of troubles every time.

Code: Select all
I/O error : No such file or directory
/etc/blackmagic/BlackmagicPreferences.xml:1: parser error : Document is empty

/etc/blackmagic/BlackmagicPreferences.xml:1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found

Segmentation fault

(note, document is not empty and contains normal XML)
Code: Select all
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<card id="0">
<attribute name="AnalogVideoOutput" value="Component"/>
<attribute name="VideoInputSource" value="SDI"/>
<attribute name="Level75" value="1"/>
<attribute name="ComponentOutputBetacamLevels" value="0"/>
<attribute name="ComponentInputBetacamLevels" value="0"/>

Control panel source code is not something we've made available at this time.
