Software and Firmware update notifications

I'm a user of a whole line of BM products these days. Thanx for that guys! BMD is very active in updating software and firmware to add new features etc. However it takes me quite some time to keep track of these updates. Is there a way to get automatic announcements of updates for certain products? It would be very useful if I could subscribe to update announcements per specific product. Maybe add a subscription button in the support section of the site?

Hehe..they also normally require that you register your products and leave email addresses with us to simply download updated drivers. While many people do not mind, there are still many people that hate it. Especially when you have to have logins for like 30 different manufacturers to keep all your product up to date.

I'd rather see an opt-in option. So you could volunteer your email only for software updates. But still..I hear ya, there's heaps of products to stay on top of.

How about an rss feed?
