Studio Convertor Audio Issue

Just got our Studio convertor with analog audio out.
Our first job was SD 720 X 576 the audio had intermittent crackling and was unusable with all 4 channels.
The unit is not detected with the convertor utility but our other BMD convertors are.
We had this audio problems a couple of years ago with the sdi to audio convertor but it was fixed with a firmware update it seems a similar issue.
We use Sony PDW700 cameras.
The sdi video output worked fine.
I am yet to test in HD but am very nervous.
Any help appreciated

Does anyone else have one of these units and is connecting successfully via usb?

Just got ours but haven't even tried testing it yet; haven't had time to.

From memory, you use the Multibridge Utility to control the Studio Converter.

There is an option in there to set audio levels - maybe too high an input or output level could be causing your problem.

We have just tested your setup in our QA area and found no issue.

Please contact your local support office.

The Converter Utility has no configuration settings for the ATEM Studio Converter.

The unit sounds much better in HD but the audio level is too hot even into a line level input.
is there no way to change audio levels?
