PostMon Oct 07, 2013 5:46 pm

I am really interested in using the blackmagic switchers but am kind of confuse on what is the minimum requirement for setting up for live broadcast production in a church environment and also note that we are nor really stream yet we just want to get in to live and post production of our church services.

Please is you have the best solution for getting started please share with me.

Define live broadcast?

A single camera plugged into a monitor (for example in the lobby) is the minimum you would need for what could be called a "live broadcast".

Or you could be running multiple cameras and computer graphics with upstream and downstream keys through a 2 M/E switcher plugged into a satellite truck. Though that tends to be a little more expensive.

I run a small public access television channel and can give you some suggestions if you wish. What exactly are you wanting to be able to do?
