Canon HF-G20 and Battery HDMI to SDI Converter can work

Tried unsuccessfully to make this camera work with 2 new Battery HDMI to SDI Converters until I updated the firmware to the most current version. It now works, the HDMI setting in the Canon menu needs to unselect HDMI 1080p so the camera sends a 1080i signal to my Tricaster, but should also work for a 1080p signal according to the documentation. There is supposed to be a light in the Converter unit that lights up when receiving an input, I found that when I was using the old firmware the light would come on but not send a signal, and with the new firmware the light blinks intermittently but appears to send video through to the Tricaster 1080-60i SDI input. Customer support didn't have a record of this in their database so I'm posting it here....
