HyperDeck Studio Pro Telnet rejection

PostWed Oct 23, 2013 7:13 pm

Hi guys... I'm trying to connect to my HDSP via telnet, however I am getting the response "120 connection rejected". I am getting this response from both Mac and PC connections... I believe this is a response from the device. I suspect that it is disconnecting the connection. Anyone can tell me why?

IP: 10.10.10.43 port: 9993
submask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 10.10.10.254

Anyone encountered this? Solutions?

I have this same issue. Were you able to resolve it? What was the problem?

So I contacted BMD support, and got the issue resolved. I'm posting this here for any other people who may come across this.

The issue was that our ATEM was connected to the hyperdeck. You cannot telnet to the hyperdeck, while the ATEM is connected to it. You'll need to log into your ATEM, and remove the IP address from the ATEM and save it. Then you will be able to telnet into it.
