Hello to all.
I come asking for advice on what if any card I would need for my 2009 Mac Pro. I produce local commercials and TV shows in HD and when ever I get a chance to take my eyes off the monitor to watch once air the spot or show I made looks washed out. Clients say it looks great on their end so no complaints there, so it could be how I receive it but I would like a better way to monitor the final before exporting. So here is the run down on what I have and am using in house and any advice is much appreciated.
Mac Pro 2009 2.2GHZ with 16 GB ram
JVC GY-HM700
Sony HDR-FX1
FCP 7
FCP X (Not super happy with X, looking to possibly upgrade to Premiere. Gotta see if the JVC files will work with it. Just Picked up the JVC 3 weeks ago.)
Not sure if more info is required please let me know. We have some bigger projects being setup and I want delivery to be perfect. Even please recommend a decent monitor as I need to get an HD one.
