1080 in 720 out

How can i use 1080 cameras but record a 720 output from any of ATEM switchers?

The ATEMs themselves won't down convert your output from 1080i to 720p. The resolution that comes in is the resolution that goes out. The cleanest solution would be to put a down converter on the output of the switcher and record that converter's output. So for example, you could use something like the Mini Converter UpDownCross or the Teranex 2D to take the 1080i59.94 output of the switcher, process this signal to 720p59.94, then take the output of the converter to your recorder.

There is a way,

but not with HDMI or SDI. You could use the USB2.0 h264 output.
The TVS has a built in resampler. The problem is that the original BMD software is missing the needed options to set this resampler. But you could use mxLight (http://mxlight.co.uk/) to do so.

This makes only sens if you only want to record or Stream the progout of TVS.
