HDMI capture via Firewire 800 or USB 2

Hello.

I would like to pickup one of your portable capture cards. The only issue is I need to use it with my Macbook Pro that is one Gen old. So I dont have the Thunderbolt or USB 3 drives. Just usb 2 or firewire 8.

Would any of your portable products be able to work with my Mac to be able to capture HD via HDMI? Mainly XBOX gameplay.

the only product that can do this is the h264 pro recorder. you also need a hdmi splitter, because the device has no output.

other then that, you are pretty much out of luck if you want bmd only. upgrade your mbp with a newer model or a different mac or look at hauppauge hd pvr 2.
