I have a fixed setup where my capture and post-production are at the same station. I'd like the option to transfer captured footage from the 12G to my computer without having to shuffle SD cards or USB-C storage devices between both. The 12G's USB-C port doesn't function as a USB storage device, so connecting it to my computer is not an option. Then I tried buying a USB-C switch with a remote, which lets me switch between two hosts controlling a USB device. Works great on my computer, but apparently the 12G doesn't support USB hubs, so that doesn't work either.
Any alternate ideas?
