Windows driver not identifying hardware

PostThu Feb 08, 2024 4:11 am

I am doing a Windows 11 install on a PC which has a DeckLink SDI 4K.
I have installed the DeckLink 7.9.4 software. However, it is not recognizing the hardware. I've attached the following sceenshot from Device Manager. My guess is that the DeckLink hardware is one or more of the unrecognized items. How can I get the driver to attach to the appropriate hardware please?

If I knew the installed location or even the name of the driver I could try it myself. Does anyone know?

Well in the time it took to get this post approved, I found and fixed the problem. Sharing here for posterity:
The DeckLink software is obsolete.
The current DeckLink drivers are included in the Desktop Video 12.8 software, and resolved the issue (the other unidentified items were resolved by installing the Intel Chipset software - not sure why Windows didn't do this automatically).

There's nothing I could find on the support pages to indicate this. There should really be more tips to steer users in the right direction.
