Blender transparent bg layers, avoid white border

PostWed Mar 27, 2024 10:39 pm

Hi. I tried searching first and discovered several threads in different forums hinting at a premultiplied setting. I checked in the Media folder and "edit clip," and all my layers seem to be set to premultiplied.

I attached the file showing the issue but can not remove those white borders. I also found some people suggesting using Fusion, which I had never tried. Are there alternatives to solve this issue without recurring in the fusion tab?

I can happily share my Blender file. It is basically a scene using different view layers with a file output node in composition using EXR - DWAB Float Full.

Thank you

There are only two possibilities, straight or premultiplied. Try the other one in Blender.
