Automated Recording and Playback

Hello All,

I have a project that requires me to automate the recording and playback etc of a camera input , for a photobooth style application,

I started looking at using a Hyper deck studio , but am unable to delete the files remotely (covered in a previous post)

another avenue I have gone down is to use a capture card (Intensity Pro) and then use media express, but it is not as elegant as i would like as from what i can see i would need to use a macro recorder to do the mouse clicks, as they are no key board shortcuts to do things like "Stop Capture"

any thoughts

Have you looked at http://www.casparcg.com a open source character generator that also can play and record video and is controled by a simple telnet protocol?

No , I havent , But i will give it a go .
