I have a MacBook Pro that I purchased in 2008; it doesn't have thunderbolt. Since my Mac doesn't have thunderbolt, I'm thinking about getting a USB 3.0 ExpressCard from LaCie. LaCie has a driver available that allows this ExpressCard to work. If I do that, would I be able to use the Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0 on my Mac?

With USB 3.0 ExpressCards, more than likely you're going to run into bandwidth issues that would inhibit this setup from working. Also, we don't have Mac drivers for our USB 3.0 devices currently, so unfortunately the Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0 isn't supported on Mac systems.
