Atem 1 M/E production switcher + Media express + Windows 7

Hi all

This is my first time on the forum.

Honestly I have no experience in the field of video, but I am computer technician.

I need to know if you can help with the following:

We need to capture video from the ATEM on a PC with Windows 7 64bit, via USB 3.0, using Blackmagic Media Express.

The problem is that only capture in HD 720, but not in 1080i50.

Could you tell me that I can be doing wrong?

Hi, Luis, and welcome to the forum!

If your ATEM is set in a 720p mode, the resolution seen by Media Express will be 720p as well. It will not upscale your ATEM output to 1080i. Is your ATEM set to 720p?

If you would like to capture to 1080i50, you would need to have your ATEM outputting 1080i50 and your incoming sources would need to match 1080i50 as well.

Also, just to add, when you set the ATEM to 1080i, all of your input sources must be 1080i. So you need to switch everything from 720p to 1080i.
