I've got a BMD Broadcast Converter that I haven't used for about a year sitting in a rack. I powered it up recently and tried to use it but no power light on, and no signal out!
I was sure it was faulty with perhaps a power supply problem until I took it out of the rack and heard the fan operating!
I decided to reconnect it to my PC and the BMD driver program. Thankfully it was recognised and reloaded "updated" firmware. It now works OK!
Has anyone else had a problem with BMD gear losing its Mojo after being turned off for some time?
