Intensity Pro card HDMI - which is input and output

PostTue Jul 29, 2014 10:38 pm

I am setting up my first BM IP card in a Mac Pro. I have an HDMI TV for output and a Canon Vixia R40 HD (1980x1080p) camera for input. They work fine when I feed cam directly to TV.

In the BM Desktop Video Control Panel which looks a bit different than the manual), output is set to HDMI & Component. Input set to HDMI Video & HDMI Audi. Default video std is set to HD 1080p 30. Input and Output processing are set to Off.

I first assumed that the unlabeled input/outputs on the iBMIP matched those of the Shuttle. But I've tried the input/output both ways. In either case, I get no signal to the TV.

What could be wrong?

The socket closest to the breakout cable socket is HDMI out.
You might want to check that the camera is actually outputting 1080p30, looking at the specs I suspect it's outputting 1080p60
