Problem Updating USB 3.0 Firmware

I'm able to install the host control driver for USB 3.0 on my computer, but when I try and update the firmware, it gives me the message "not found the host controoler" (it actually misspells controller).
I'm using Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H motherboard, and trying to hook up an Intensity Shuttle so that I can record Xbox 360 gameplay.
I'm at a complete loss here, any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. Let me update the driver but not the firmware. I'm using the Renesas controller but Windows just says the host controller not found. Any ideas?
