UltraStudio MiniRecorder FCPX

Hello

Got the UltraStudio Mini Recorder today and i was wondering if i can record with it direct to final cut pro X i dont get it as an input in FCPX or quicktime. do i miss something there

It works in Media Express and other programs as ist should do

Hi,

Final Cut Pro X does not have a capture function like there was in FCP7. So it won't be possible to capture directly into FCPX using the Mini Recorder, or any other third party capture devices. You would need to capture using Media Express or a third party application and then import the files into FCPX.
