Hyperdeck Shuttle 2- quicktimes copied to drive & 5.1 audio

Has anyone been able to get a quicktime copied onto the SSD drive to play? I'm trying to take edits to a screening room and would rather copy the file than record to the unit. It plays back what's been recorded to it fine, just won't play copied files. Using version 3.6 utility, setting format to quicktime DNxHD Avid, and that's what I'm rendering out of the Avid.

Also, trying to playback 5.1 audio. My unit works fine when recording to it- it does record all channels but doesn't seem to output through HDMI- just channels 1,2.

I know this doesn't help as you are Avid based but I do it all the time using FCP 7 and FCP X with both ProresHQ and Uncompressed mov's.

Hey Baz,
That's encouraging... And are you able to playback multichannel audio?

Thanks
