Mac Pro (new) USB 3 and Intensity Shuttles

PostMon May 25, 2015 5:19 pm

The newer ("black trash can") Mac Pros have 4 USB 3 ports. I have already learned the hard way that a supposedly Mac compatible multi-port USB 3 card in an older 2010 Mac Pro won't support any Intensity Shuttles. BM tech support has no useful information/experience beyond saying, essentially, that they once tried hooking up a single Shuttle to a PC's USB 3 and think it worked.

Has anyone had real experience to share using single or, better, multiple Shuttles into the newer Mac's USB 3 ports? I'd like to use it for webcasting with Wirecast software.

Thanks.

Yes they work. As they work with the MBP's, MBPr's, Mac Mini and iMac's with USB 3.0.
