How do I connect my intensity shuttle USB 3.0 to my xbox?

Hello, I just got a black magic intensity shuttle USB 3.0 for Christmas and I have had much troubles, after figuring out about most things the one thing I can't figure out is how to actually connect my shuttle to my Xbox 360. Please help me I am trying to broadcast the 26th of December!!

the image is represented by a continuous voltage over time, each for the R, G and B channels, with sync usually on green.
alternatively, it can be represented by continuous voltages in each of the Y (luminance), U and V vectors, with sync on Y

You can also just connect a HDMI Cable from the output of the XBOX360 to the Input of the Shuttle and connect the output to your TV (via HDMI), there's no delay. Alternatively you could get a HDMI splitter.

I bought the xbox 360 component cable but it still doesnt work ???. I have already spent way to much money just on this... Do you know what my problem is ?

Also what program do I use to view my videos, I have the black magic media express but I don't know how to use it ?

You can use nearly any mediaplayer to view your videos, I use Mediaplayer Classic.

Can you post a screenshot of your settings in Media Express please? And what motherboard do you have?

Idk what motherboard I have. I am using the alienware x51 basic one for $699
And In media express it won't let me change ANY settings ?

I'm not sure if the USB 3.0 Chipset of your Alienware is supported.

And if Media Express does not let you change any settings it seems that your shuttle is not recognized.

Yes. I don't know what Mainboard your Alienware has but I assume the USB 3.0 Chipset might be incomaptible with the Intensity Shuttle.

I'm not very good with all the tech specs but if you look on the alienware website you may be able to find the motherboard

It looks like your motherboard is an OEM one, however, you could take a look at the device manager to find out what USB 3.0 Chipset your mainboard does have. In my case my Rensas (NEC) Chipset is listed under "USB-Controller".

I meant the USB Chipset, the chipset of your motherboard should be irrelevant.

Your Mainboard has several Controllers on it, one is responsible for USB 3.

If that one is not compatible with the shuttle it does not work (there are several warning on the page and also inside of the packaging). Your controller is probably not supported.

You should be able to see your Controller under the point "USB-Controller" in the Device Manager, it is called something like "<Manufacturer> USB 3.0 Host Controller".

Please tell me the Manufacturer. If it's not Rensas Electronics that could be the issue.

Mmh, ok, "Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller" sounds good.

Have you tried plugging in the Shuttle into a other USB 3.0 Port (blue)? Windows should pop up that it has detected a new device and is installing the drivers.

Also you could check the "Audio-, Video- and Gamecontrollers" Section, you should see this 3 devices:

I see the 2 of the 3 I don't see the "black magic decklink WDM streaming"

I plugged the shuttle into another USB 3.0 blue port, but now it says I only have "blackmagic intensity shuttle"

Restart the Device Manger, maybe they show up then.

Also, install the Rensas Electronics Drivers and update your USB 3.0 Firmware (google will help).

ok I downloaded it onto my desktop, what do I need to do now ?

Well, I don't know what you have to do to update the drivers (I haven't done it because mine were already on a working version), please consider google on how to update your rensas electronics usb 3.0 host controller.

I have the same problem however I updated both my drivers and firmware. But when I click on the usb 3.0 controller utility it says it is not found. We both have the same computer. I have the Blue usb 3.0 cable plugged in to the correct spot and everything. What can I do.
