Got an Intensity Extreme Thunderbolt for Christmas, pretty stoked. However I can't seem to get it to work.
I have a Macbook Pro
OSX 10.8.2
Media Express 3.0.3
I have the latest version of Final Cut Pro X, I've heard you can use that to capture so that's also an option
My goal is to capture Xbox 360 gameplay footage via HDMI in 720p
I've tried capturing with HDMI, Component, in 720p, 1080i, with different frame rates, and nothing works so far
In Media Express under Device it says that my computer recognizes the Intensity Extreme
Despite all this I still just get a black screen
I'm kind of at a loss for what to do, I'm pretty new to all this so any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
as an after thought: is there a separate driver I have to download?
EDIT: I updated to Desktop Video 9.6.9 Which in turn updated Media Express to 3.2 and now it works
