intensity shuttle usb 3.0 - compatibility, x58, Lenovo Y580

PostSat Dec 29, 2012 2:41 pm

Hello, will shuttle usb 3.0 work with Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 ?

It has i7-3610QM Processor,
so Ivy Bridge - so it has USB 3.0 support built in there.

Your technical specification http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/product ... /techspecs says
"Requires an x58 based motherboard with onboard USB 3.0, or a USB 3.0 PCI Express card..."

And your employee Darell Sim mentiones "NEC/Renesas" in viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3718

but how about Ivy Bridge?

Could you publish list of tested chipsets that do work?
