Intensity shuttle and pinnacle studio 16

Hi guys, i am thinking of investing in the shuttle product to support an oldish sony hdr hc3e cam and need to know if this configuration is fully compatible with a usb 3 computer running pinnacle studio 16 - any issues at all with this config ? Many thanks, oh, machine is gigabyte p2542g... (So no firewire obviously)

Hello Garry,

Although the Intensity line of products should be able to capture from a Sony camcorder just fine, I have to unfortunately dissuade you from using the Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0 with the Gigabyte laptop.

We have a list of certified hardware to use with our USB 3.0 products and unfortunately that laptop is not on the list.

If you have access to a desktop PC, there is a better chance that our Intensity Pro PCIe will be the better solution.

Also just to note, we do not do any testing in Pinnacle. NLEs that we do test on would be Adobe Premiere and Avid Media Composer.
