KNOW WHAT HYPERDECK wont Do!!

If you intend to use the Hyperdeck's to record the HDMI output of computers, for instance in recording corporate Power Point presentations, you should know that the Hyperdeck's will not usually, record the signal, some will record but with green tinting added. NOT correctible, NOT usable, NOT included in any of the manual or web, BM literature!!!!! Customer support says they are working on this? Appearantly for quite a while.

seems to me the "green" tint is a color space issue have you tried switching settings on your video card are you using a video card with hdmi output or with dvi and and adapter??

be sure your video card has the most upto drivers and search on here about connecting to tvs/atem other bmd products

what os are you using ... pc/mac ??

Whatever the cause may be, i understand the frustration of BM not documenting well the features and NOT-features of their devices.

One example: Just the fact that you have to google the physical dimensions of the Hyperdeck shuttle elsewhere than the actual product site makes we wonder of how much BM is thinking about the actual real world uses of their products.

Couldnt you anticipate that people buy the Shuttle for a camera rig and specifically need to know how big it is?
