Which product are you inquiring about regarding FCP X support? Our Mac-compatible DeckLink, Intensity, and UltraStudio devices support playback from FCP X using our current Desktop Video driver. However, FCP X does not support direct capture through our hardware as you could with previous versions of FCP. However you can capture your clips in our Media Express software that comes bundled free in our driver and import them into FCP X for editing.

To elaborate a little more on what Sarah said.

You can use FCPX in OS 10.5. But you cannot output through our products directly from FCPX in that OS.

The underlying architecture required for playback from FCPX was not introduced until OS 10.7.

On earlier OS's you can use Media Express for capture. Then edit in FCPX and when done export the file. Finally moving it back into Media Express for playback.

On OS 10.7 and higher, you can use Media Express for capture. Then Edit and playback in FCPX.

I hope that makes it more clear for you.
