Field Monitors BMCC - can an iPad be used?

PostMon Jun 20, 2016 5:04 pm

Now I know it's probably been asked before as it's an easy solution, as we all probably own an iPad or a tablet.

I was just wondering, as I'm going to purchase the Ronin MX shortly, would there be a way for me to use my existing iPad (Air & Mini) as a field monitor, just to keep those ever expanding costs down?

I know it won't be straight forward but is there a workaround?

Thanks all.

Jake.

Some Tradek products will stream to any mobile device and could work for that.

You can not connect the IPad directly. You will need some type of video streaming device/transmitter sending a WiFi feed to the IPad, and IPad software to support this.
