UHD HDMI -> 12G

We are using a Teranex mini HDMI to 12G for converting a signal. The output did break up all the time, and we guessed it was a sync issue.

After trying a AJA HA5 4K we got it to work after putting the unit to free run sync, instead of locking to the input HDMI..

Can we expect such function in the BMD Teranex Mini unit ?

What was reault. I have a Decimator MD-HX in front of a Teranex Mini SDI 12G. Not currently picking up signal and have it locked to HDMI. Maybe free run will work.
