intensity pro

PostThu Feb 16, 2017 4:12 pm

Tried for the third time, in a year, today to get this card working under win10.

updated Win10, updated all Blackmagic software. (10.8.4) tested RGB output from camera (Sony Hc1E) to TV (1080I) all good, connected to BM card, set up inputs to RGB using BM utility, opened media express. Nothing... tried changing output options .. nothing. checked under device manager, 3 drivers audio, streaming and pro, all present and correct.

Restart on computer and tried again....again again..

motherboard ... 64bit GA-Z87X-UD3H, I7 4770K 3.5ghz, video ... Nvidia 2x SLI,

Help??

So in Media Express what do you have the capture format set to? Does it match the output of the camera?

I did try a few options below the native resolution, even though i couldn't understand why the output should make any difference as one of the purposes of the card is to re-sample for output at different resolutions, I thought??. my experience with older cards is that you at least see something in the capture screen even if the frequency etc is out of sync.

If your experience is that it does, which is weird in my humble opinion, then i'll try and match it. The base recording is 1080i and i assume that the component output will be the same??

Best wishes and many thanks for your interest ill let you know how I get on.

On second thoughts I now see the capture format which is not resolution but bit depth etc and ill try that.

to confirm also that the card does not show up under Sony Movie Studio (plat 13) so i was guessing that it was a hardware issue.

best

Chris
