Audio issues-Black intensity shuttle

I have wirecast, Black magic intensity ShuttleThunderbolt, Macbook pro retina and Canon EOS 5D mark III. I am unable to get audio from the the camera through BMD. I am running the latest BMD firmware 10.8.5 and latest wirecast 7.4.0 please help.

Edid errors between your Dslr and capture device. DSLRs are notorius for that. Thats Why we don't use DSLRs as camera's (amongst other reasons, overheating sensors, fragile hdmi, 29min limit on lot of them, Windows output on Some of them, )

Any tips on how to troubleshoot?
