Intensity Pro not detected after O/S Upgrade

PostMon Apr 10, 2017 1:48 pm

Hi - I've had an Intensity Pro card working just fine in my Mac Pro (2010) for about 4 years running with Mavericks.

Last week I upgraded to Sierra, and the computer no longer recognizes the card. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to get it working again - anything I need to download as far as drivers or software, etc.

Thank you.

Blackmagic has been very slow to update its product firmware for use on Sierra. In fact it's still not easy to run some devices on El Capitan either. The solution for me was to roll back two of my systems to Yosemite (yes, you did read that right!) in order to keep things moving. Not good.
Blackmagic Teranex 2D, Ultrastudio Express, Intensity Shuttle (Thunderbolt), Two H.264 Pro Recorders (Mac OSX) & lots of old VTRs used for digital archiving of legacy video formats for major libraries, broadcasters, universities and public archives.
