using Bm video assist and red scarlet camera

How would you use the BM video assist (HD) and the red scarlet camera?

Can the the BM video assist be used for recording?

Yes, BM 5-inch Video Assist records 1080p HD on SD UHS1 cards and the VA-7 inch records UHD to UHS2 SD cards. Both have SDI and HDMI inputs. The VA 4K also has a Mini XLR audio Mic/Line input.

thanks for the reply..when I'm using the BM video assist how else can it help when shooting with the red scarlet ?
