I am new to both this forum as well as DaVinci. I downloaded the beta for DaV-14 to test out how Fairlight is working. I have numerous test aafs that I use for testing DAWs such as Ardour/Mixbus as well as Reaper. They are all audio post aafs (not music).
The issue I ran into was that DaV-14 wouldn't import the aafs because there was no video present. This seems like an oversight to me but I was wondering if somebody could elaborate on the audio post workflow DaV-14 is going for? Will Fairlight only work on internal DaV-14 projects? I know the full Fairlight version (which was sadly killed off in favor of this new one) has no issues with this so I can only assume that this is a DaV-14 issue.
