Decklink Quad 2 not working after Update to 10.9.3

PostFri Jun 09, 2017 6:21 am

We have several Decklink Quad 2 using with Win7/Win10.
After a driver update to 10.9.3 one Quad 2 is not working anymore.
The device manager shows only 5 Decklink Quad. The destop videp setup tool cannot access them and reports that no decklink device is installed.
Additionally only one cooling fan is spinning!

We tried to roll back the driver to older versions (10.8.5 / 10.6.1) and tried it on various machines... no chance to activate the card.

We assume that the firmware is damaged. Is the there any chance to reactivate the card?

Have you tried in another PC? It may not be getting enough power.

RTX 3090
DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G
Resolve Studio 17.4.1

As Jack mentioned, testing it on another computer is something we would suggest. If it is still not working, go ahead and contact your regions support office and they can provide further guidance to you.
