Decklink Quad 2 USB Port

We have noticed that the Decklink Quad 2 has a Mini-USB Port on the oppsite side of the PCIe connectors.
We wonder what it is used for?

The USB port is for internal company use only.

Tech support just had me use that port to update the firmware on the card while it was disconnected from the system...
