Does UltraSound Mini Recorder Capture PC

Greetings everyone. I'll be straightforward with the question; if I connect an HDMI to the output of a PC and then connect it to the input of the Mini Recorder, and then connect the Thunderbolt to an iMac, will it be able to capture it or no? I know the Mini Recorder works with video capture devices but I'm wondering if it works this way as well.

This depends on the format being output from the computer. Most will be sending a 1080p60 format on the HDMI output, which is not a format supported by the UltraStudio Mini Recorder.

There should be no troubles accepting the signal if it's a format the product supports.

I do this all the time. In fact I have two Ultrastudio Mini Recorders, one for camera (Nikon D610 on a Swivl for pan and tilt) and one for MacbookPro output of presentation slides mirroring what the presenter is doing from their laptop. I find its often hard to split HDMI signals in theatres and have it still work on their projector. Easiest just to mirror it from a second laptop.
