Hi everyone, first post here. I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the products here and am not sure what is overkill for what I need. Any hardware help would be greatly appreciated.
I run Windows, have 2 Canon D70 DSLR cameras (HDMI and USB), 1 Xf100 Canon camcorder (HDMI), and a Mackie audio mixing board along with a few mics.
My goal is to do live streaming as well as pre-recorded shows using these cameras, and software like Wirecast for switching. What I'm unsure of is the hardware to get those 3 cams into my computer and software. The product list here is a bit confusing, as I'm new to streaming and multiple cam set ups.
4k is not necessary, as I am in SE Asia and we simply don't have the internet speeds to push 4k consistently, and I doubt we will anytime in the foreseeable future.
Upon looking it seems I need a mini converter (3 of them?) but I do not use SDI and do not have Thunderbolt. I suppose I could buy a Thunderbolt card for my PC if I need to, but would I need one for each cam?
Huge thanks in advance for the help. I'm new to all of this and the more I read the more confused I get, and most of the videos I find on Youtube are for Apple.
