The V2,5 update is only for the 7" model.. It does not add anything to the 5"... ;)

What's new in Blackmagic Video Assist 2.5

Add multiple Scopes to the Video Assist 4K
Add Anamorphic Desqueeze to the Video Assist 4K
Add Blue only to the Video Assist 4K
General performance and stability updates to the Video Assist and Video Assist 4K

You need to click on the little icon in the middle of the window which I admit doesn't look clickable!! It took me a few seconds.

Then again.. It does not update anything guys.. All the updates are only for the 7"model.. For the 5"it is just the same image as 2.x but then called 2.5... So there is no point in updating your 5" VA.. ;)

Daniel us right, updatingbthevVA HD with 2.5 will not apply, it will just reinstall the previous HD update, a waste of time. Same goes for camera updates. You need to read the release notes, which what the update is for!
Cheers

In fact, different to what happens to the cameras, it does update to de 2.5 version and I noticed the green tint is almost gone now without using LUTs. The screen is pretty good now to me but only a bit better than with the previous firmware. I didnt do any real tests, its just an opinion from someone who uses it so I may be not totally right.
