HyperDeck mini record rate

Will the HyperDeck only record 1080 and not any of the lower res like 480 X 360?

Cliff, That would be correct. 1280p up to UHD, nothing below that.

Just to check.. What are you trying to record with 480 x 360??

Hi Daniel, The local cable co. that carries our church program has not allowed us to use HD until maybe this fall. But they say it's coming soon. I've been purchasing equipment to get ready for the change.

I just thought I would pull the old Firewire equipment now and start recording with the new cameras at a low rate till the HD change happens. I guess I'll just wait for the change to HD by the cable co.

Then i would go HD when your ready. And use a downconverter to adapt to cable co
