Set up for church

PostTue Jul 25, 2017 5:28 pm

Hello y'all!

Our church is wanting to add more video elements to our service. Here is what we are needing: we want to stream via Facebook Live and record the message to be added to our website at a later date. The other thing we are wanting to do is to display our service on the TVs in the lobby. The screens in the sanctuary need to remain slides only. We need to be able to keep it simple, especially in the initial. I assume we will need 2 computers. What are your thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Hi Scott! Away from my computer ATM so I'll answer more later, but if you see this before I get back: what equipment do you already own? What are the connections between those pieces?

For example, you already have projectors with DVI or HDMI running to them, and an iMac with propresenter, or you have easyworship and pc. Are there tvs in the lobby already? Any cameras (even personally owned handicams) that can be used to try things out?

Don't worry about being super detailed- it will help us a lot if you are!
