Hi,
when recording from a 16:9 SD source using the H.264 Pro Recorder (such as DigiBeta via SDI), the resulting .mp4 file is Full Height Anamorphic.
Is it possible to set the Display Aspect Ratio of the .mp4 file to 16:9 so the file plays back at the correct aspect ratio?
I can change/correct the DAR using something like MP4Box but this extra step is a bit of a pain.
Regards, Kenny
p.s. I suspect this is also true for 4:3 SD material, where the box will record a 720x576 (PAL) file and thus the .mp4 plays back at this size, rather than 768x576 - though obviously this squeeze is minor compared to that with 16:9 FHA.
