Hi,

What's the trick to powering on the video assist recorder? Sometimes I press and hold, nothing happens. 8 tries later, it turns on for me. What's the secret?

Just press the power button for one second or so,and let it go. Takes a moment or two to start booting.
Holding down the power button for 3-seconds or so, powers it back off.
