Intensity Pro 4K does not fit mother board

So just bought the intensity pro 4k capture card that says it is a PCI-e card but when I unboxed it the connection to the motherboard does not fit any of my PCI-e card slots. After pulling out a different PCI-e card I have already installed and looking at the connections they are completely different sizes.

What is going on here?

It's a PCIe x4 card, you're probably used to seeing longer ones. It's fine to put it in a larger PCIe slot.
